Yarn-dyed houndstooth woven to the four-pointed star repeat, slate blue on near-black ground — the colours interlocking rather than printed, the dogtooth points crisp on both faces of the cloth. Mid-weight, structured, with the dry hand and the bite of a properly woven check rather than a print pretending to one. The H silhouette frames the print symmetrically across the chest: the H reads as the most disciplined of the silhouettes, and houndstooth is the most disciplined of patterns — the combination is heritage on heritage.
