Yarn-dyed woven cloth in deep navy with fine cabled white-gold vertical stripes — pinstripe, but with a twist. Each cream-to-silver vertical is a slim twisted or cabled motif rather than a flat warp stripe, raised slightly proud of the ground so the stripe is felt under a fingertip as well as seen. The cloth carries the language of a fine worsted suiting — Savile Row's quieter cousin — and the cabled-stripe detail is the kind of small fancy that marks a very good tailoring cloth from a merely competent one. The H silhouette frames the verticals symmetrically: from across a room the cloth reads as near-black, near-architectural; up close, the cabled stripes resolve as the cloth's whole argument. Navy stitching anchors the silhouette.
