Y Harness — Cockadoodle (Festival)
Cockadoodle knows exactly what it's drawn — and the title earns every letter. Rainbow outline motifs across a clean white cotton ground. The Y carries the gradient openly across the chest, the longest, lightest body of the trio.
A novelty cotton print in rainbow gradient outline on a clean white ground — outlines only, no fill, with the linework progressing through the full spectrum (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) across the cloth. The white ground is doing real work: a coloured ground would tip the cloth into chaos; the white keeps it composed. The Y silhouette holds the print openly across the chest, leaving the front uninterrupted in a way that lets the rainbow gradient progress continuously rather than cutting cleanly. White stitching keeps the lines clean. One of three Cockadoodle pieces in the Alpha 30 — the H, X, and Y silhouettes in this same cloth, the Festival collection's queer-coded trio.
