H Harness — Cheeky Houndstooth Combo, Slate-and-Grey (Tie Cloth)
Two houndstooths, one harness. The slate-blue Cheeky Houndstooth and the quieter grey are combined into a single composed H — two cloths from the same Savile Row family, deliberately paired across the strap construction. The most architectural piece in the Alpha 30.
A multi-fabric H Harness built from two cloths in the same houndstooth family — slate blue on near-black (the loud Cheeky Houndstooth) and pale silver-grey on near-black (the quieter version). Both yarn-dyed, both woven the Savile Row way, both sourced via Dalston Mill Fabrics in Hackney as genuine deadstock — finite vintage remnants, no more being made anywhere. Both cloths terminal, both finite. Construction: two of the four wrap straps are slate-blue houndstooth; the other two are grey. The front bar is split half slate-blue, half grey along its length. The small enclosed strap inside the bar that holds the dangling D-ring is slate-blue. The result is a single garment-accessory that reads as composed rather than as print clash — two volumes of the same lineage, sitting in deliberate conversation across the H silhouette. Navy stitching anchors the architecture without competing with either cloth.

The combo construction (two-and-two strap distribution, half-and-half front bar, slate inner strap) is a one-time design decision; this configuration won't be reproduced.
