X Harness — Zeebra Print in Grey on White (Festival)
Zebra grammar in cool grey on white — the Festival collection's most graphic stripe, animal-print energy at the volume of a real print rather than a costume one. The closing piece of the Festival range.
A reactive or pigment-printed cotton in cool grey zebra stripe on a clean white ground — the irregular zebra grammar of varying-width stripes that taper, branch, and break, printed at a scale that suits a body rather than the original animal.
The cool grey is the cloth's whole argument: black-and-white zebra is a costume; grey-and-white zebra is a print. The X silhouette catches the stripe field on the diagonal across the chest, with the zebra lines running through the X's cuts rather than fighting them. Purple stitching anchors the silhouette.
The cloth came from a Children's Society charity shop in Beccles, Suffolk — the founder's hometown — and is the only piece in the Alpha 30 with a charity-shop provenance.
The print register supplies the volume; the cut carries it.

This is the only Zeebra in the Alpha 30 Archive. The original twin piece (#30, near-identical configuration) was deliberately cut from the manifest to preserve the 1-of-1 logic — leaving this X as the standalone Zeebra in the launch. This configuration won't be reproduced; future drops may revisit the print with different finishes, but this X exists once.
