Yarn-dyed woven cloth in the regimental stripe grammar — deep navy ground broken by red verticals at irregular intervals, paired thin stripes alternating with thicker single ones in the same broken-stripe rhythm that gives club ties their refined neckwear discipline. The colour pull is the cloth's argument: cool navy ground, warm red stripes, a tension that wouldn't settle on either register and decided to be both. The Y silhouette holds the stripe openly across the chest — the longest, lightest body of the silhouettes, the one where the verticals catch the diagonal cuts and become deliberately broken composition. Navy stitching anchors the silhouette without competing with the print. Sourced via Dalston Mill Fabrics in Hackney, who listed the cloth as deadstock from Vanners of Sudbury, Suffolk — the heritage British silk weaver that entered administration in November 2020. This is old stock from a remnant bundle, and it isn't being re-sourced. Heritage neckwear, redirected.
